Ready-made pesto can’t compete with the fresh taste of homemade. Once you have tried making your own you will never go back. It’s easy, versatile and tasty.
Makes one 150g tub.Products Used:
Ingredients:
3 large handfuls of basil leaves
100g pinenuts
75g parmesan
3 garlic cloves
65ml olive oil
Pinch of salt
Pinch of pepper
Method:
Add the basil leaves and pine nuts to a blender or pestle and mortar and blend to a rough paste.
Grate the parmesan into the mixture and add the garlic cloves, blend again until all the ingredients have come together.
Drizzle the oil into the mixture and blend again.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
