Pan-fried in butter with the fresh flavour of lemon and tangy capers, the perfect complement to the earthy taste of Brussels Sprouts. The best way to cook your Brussels sprouts for Christmas dinner.
Serves 4-6.Ingredients:
500g Brussels sprouts
1 lemon
2 tbsp capers
1 tbsp olive oil
50g butter
Method:
Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
Cut each Brussel sprout in half and place in a frying plan on a medium heat. Drizzle with olive oil and cook until they are soft and just start to colour.
Cut the lemon in half and roast in a pre-heated oven on a roasting tray for 15 minutes.
Once the sprouts start to colour add the lemon halves, butter and capers to the frying pan.
Stir gently until the sprouts are coated with the butter, lemon and capers then serve.
