A Christmas classic with an irresistible twist. Sticky and sweet pigs in blankets fit for a festive feast.
Serves 4-6.Ingredients:
20 pigs in blankets made with good quality sausage meat
150g red grapes
100ml white wine vinegar
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp chopped rosemary
1 tsp chopped thyme
1 tsp runny honey
1 tsp wholegrain mustard
Method:
Place the pigs in blankets into the oven.
Place the vinegar in a pan and heat up to a boil.
Add the honey followed by the grapes and simmer for one minute, then turn the heat off.
Mix the runny honey and mustard together to create a glaze.
Once the pigs in blankets are cooked add the drained pickled grapes and brush with the honey and mustard glaze.
Return to the oven for a further 5 minutes before serving.
